can find my cuz bro JN online who informs me that the Acer Notebook ( handed over to him the previous day by myself) has been fixed. All that errors has been due to some registry clashes from the AV program. Information regarding the same gets passed to ma company's Executive Director and I arrange to collect it from JN's home straight after work.
Meanwhile, I get to know that another cuz bro who had gone to India for vacation is currently outstation. Been gone on a Pilgrimage tour to SriMookambika Shetram (Karnataka), Uduppi Temple (Mysore), Parassini Temple(Kannur) with newly wed couples and youngen family members. Seems mine and JJ's attempts to contact my cuz bro end up in vain.
July 18th - Fri :
Another Friday comes by. Which is most suitable for devoting for more leisure time at office, less work and better pay.
Another suitable day to read all long emails, clearing desktop, downloading songs and software patches, transferring files to USB memory devices.
I try out Bricopacks from CrystalXP.net and this theme seems to make my Windows PC faster during run-time.

One of my orkut friend has come out with a new Blog for A collection of malayalam poems. Their first blog being Kanikkonna.
July 20th - Sun :
Its been almost a year since I have seen Sam Common. (Try translating that name to Malayalam to get his real name). I see that he is online on Gtalk with a pleasant news that he is back from India after his marriage. The only time I have seen him was during 2007 Onam Celebrations.
Later that nite, I visit JN hoping to have a grub from there. I get to have a chit-chat with Muh, who was been one of my good friends in college. With whom I have lived for about 2.5 years at our abode VWAKIF. Through him, I come to know that I am a victim of a Paparazzi propaganda spreading around in USA since almost a year.
At this moment, I recall that one of my best friends from Sem 1 of college was an active inhouse Paparazzi publisher.
I wonder if he has been involved in Princess Di's death or many other incidents at college.

"New Community Movement " - July 16th
Today is July 16th.
At the Safety Meeting at office, the Project Director describes about a revolution that took place in Korea between 1970 and 80's. It was the New Community Movement.
So what is special about this so called Movement ?
The New Community Movement, also known as the New Village Movement or Saemaeul Movement, was a political initiative launched by former South Korean president Park Chung Hee to modernize the rural South Korean economy. The most significant aspect was spreading orange tiled houses throughout the countryside to replace tradition-bound straw-thatched or choga-jip houses.
I wonder if this movement has got anything to do with the roofs in Countryside of Korea being Orange or Blue.
During the speech and in connection to New Community Movement, the PD has given advice and instructions to the whole 100+ team members to love our Site Area and maintain a clean and safe work environment. This is first time at this site that such a movement is going to be implemented. Three (3) teams are formed and each team has to traverse a definite route at the Worksite, thereby removing debris to create a safer, clearer, friendlier, work environment.
This activity is time consuming and there goes 2 hours of early morning productive work.
NB : Such activity will be conducted on a regular basis. I think its gonna be scheduled every 15 days. Expecting the same for August 1st.

Holiday Planning
July 15 - Tue :
I come to know of certain things during my conversation with peers in Q8. Which may be noted as follows:
1. They still use Johnson & Johnson baby products for bathing. Cant find anything wrong with that, cos they still look like Cute & Oversize Babies, with all that baby-fat.
As for me, i don't remember buying any of those products ever since I gained knowledge.
2. Some of our seniors from college, who are working here in Q8, says their work timings are bad. They say " have to work from 8 am to 5.30 pm and then sometimes have to stay back for some work .... usually reaching home around 8 pm "
When I am working from 5.30 am to 7 pm ...
So whose timings are bad now ? Let them decide.
After a period of 2 years, I am able to catch up with my cousin bro's wife residing in Kochi and get to know about her sisters and their families, how they been doing during the last 2 years. Last time I seen them was at my cousin bro's marriage.

T before July 15
July 12 - Sat:
I see that TG - an old friend from Kuwait - whom I had recently seen during last year Onam Celebration is online in Orkut. From her profile I notice that she has been committed. So, I take some time to get to know whats been happening lately.
She reveals that her fiance is from the Tharakan family and works in Chennai. So I change to investigative mode and trace out the Ezhupunna Tharakan from her list. She gives an ID match.
Later, from my good friend PSG, I come to know that Jibby the Oracle Specialist has left this desert land couple of months back. Its not been too long yet, since he left only in Dec 2007.
Around lunch time, I visit JN's place and collect the ICV movie CD. I also say that I will return it ASAP. So, I go home and after my lunch, I begin to watch Disc 1 of ICV. By the time its 3 pm and time for me to get going for Evening Session of work, I manage to complete Disc 1 and also 25% of Disc 2.
While back at office, I take some time off during my work, to consult a few friends about placements in the medical industry in kuwait for 2 of my known friends.
After my days work, I take a very early dinner and continue to watch the rest of Disc 2 of ICV and around 8.30 pm, I think of returning it to JN's place. When I reach their building, I come to know that they are not there. So I head back to my room, and take an early sleep too.
I see my roommate JJ dress up and go to office at 10 pm. Has a PowerShutDown to do and seems our RHLC friend will be accompanying him.
July 13 - Sun:
In the morning, I see JN online. I tell him that I been to his place the prev evening. But no one answered the door. So he tells me that he had left with family for shopping and also had an Arabic Dinner ( a treat for the Child ).
Before I go home for lunch, I see my Aussie settled friend SM is online and get to know few things from her. She tells that she has gone shopping to buy some postcards, greeting cards, letter pad and envelopes - in this Digital Era. Esp bcos her husband is in Egypt, she says she has to spend her time looking after her daughter Mikaila and also sending handwritten letters and greeting cards to her few good friends in USA, India and Middle East. Now thats interesting. Handwritten letters and cards are definitely more touching than sending electronically.
I see HTT online just 10 min before I leave for my lunch, and come to know that T&HT hav seen the 1 Way Ticket already. Rating : Not so good , No Story.
At about 6 pm, I see that my little Cuz from UAE is online. Come to know that he is no more a Game Freak. He has shifted to softwares. Things like Windows Blinds, Skin Editor, Swish Max, 3DS, Dreamweaver are the kind that he likes now. And of cos, GPS Maps that can be used on his dad's new Symbian mobile from Nokia - the E90 Communicator.
On way way back from office, our little Mazda Minivan meets with an accident.
All of us are stranded on No. 30 Highway, waiting for the Police to arrive. And after he comes, we get the Yellow Ticket and asks us to go to the nearest Police Station.
I reach home 90 min later than my usual time. Even had to walk from the Cop-Center to my residence. I see that my roommates are busy relocating the Satellite Dish to the next building. The building owner has just announced that he is going to construct two more floors. And all tenants are requested to clear their satellite dish from the terrace, which is directly above ours.
Anyway, my plan to visit JN's place to handover ICV is in vain. Maybe tomorrow then.
July 14 - Mon:
Its a dusty day from morning.
At 8 am, I see our RHLC guy online and he says he was at office since Sunday nite. And he is tired. Needs rest. Well, I guess he will have to wait till 3 pm , if he needs to do that.
At half past 9, I see that Child is online. Been seeing online presence for more than 1 hour now. But no response until just now. Come to know that she is been chatting with her friend without having her breakfast. I compel her to take her bread n butter before its too late. And off she goes.
Today, I stay in office, not possible to go home for lunch. As the company vehicle is in workshop after the previous day's accident. I'm stranded at office, and I stick to eating Digestive biscuits this afternoon.
At 1.30 pm, I see JN online and I tell him about the previous day's incident and also tell him that I am sorry, cos I'm not able to return the movie CD yet. He says its okay and that I wouldnt have seen them the previous night as they had gone out for movie - the 1 Way Ticket. I thought somebody already mentioned its got no story. Now, why would they see it ? Well it was a sponsored event by one of RJN's friend from Dubai.
At 8 pm, its still dusty.
Not going anywhere today. Rather stay at home.

T minus { Meeting BIM & ... }
July 8:
I see AT and SM online, who been missing on Monday. Not spoken to them since Sunday July 6. Exchange info abt happenings in kuwait and family. And get along with work.
Having Nothing much to do 7 PM, I decide to visit my brothers place.
So, I arrange for an early dinner at home and then head to their place as decided earlier.
July 9:
I come to know that Child has had an interview, which she fared well. But willl decide upon it only by end of month. the Child still awaits more interviews.
July 10:
Child spends time, waking up late, at abt noon time IST. Chats with friends, Watches TV, continues to spend time until RJN reaches home after work.
July 11:
Another Friday and a complete rest day. Wake up early, earlier than usual. No need for setting up any alarm for Friday. Plan to have a haircut at around 10 am.
And start off the Friday routines just like everyone else. Browse TV. If nothing good, then snap on the music system. Time flies until its past 9 AM. And, enter our cooking operator.
Just 15 min prior to 10 AM, not-so-good news arrives. Water has run out. Stuck at home without water on a Friday. And all chores come to sudden halt. Even then, JJ and our eldest friend at room, Mr KMV decide to go to Vehicles ES-kirab Yard at Amghara.
Roam around there, reach back home at 2 pm. Take a late lunch at 3.30 Pm and a small nap.
I wake up to see a sms from BIM saying he is coming over to meet me with an unmentioned but old friend. No clue who it is.
Instead of waiting for him, I decide to go to JN and abt 2 hours later, I get call from BIM that he is in town. So, I hang up with him and the un-mentioned friend for 2 hours and head back to JN's place for dinner.
Head home at 2230 and to sleep soon after.
P.S. : That unmentioned person is an old School mate from ISK, last seen in 1996 March.

T - { Welcoming the Child }
July 5:
Little did i know that the office timing has changed. The 4.5 hrs lunch break has been cut short to 2 hours. Its been a sign of relief for the TCN colleagues around me, 'cos they will be getting more OT ( 4 hrs unlike previously 1.5 Hrs ). Getting OT is what a few friends of mine despises after coming to this foreign land.
No wonder its widely accepted saying "Envy in the eyes of the Beholder".
July 6:
After lunchtime, I come to know of the changed work schedule from BJ and TK. But I am not ready to accept it. That will spoil my lunch time...
Cos its always, health > money.
Also come to know from JN that I've to go to aiport on Monday to receive a guest ? Rather a relative !!!
July 7:
As usual, I arrive at my work place, and b4 i start my work, I head to the PM, to seek special permission to leave early. And so, he asks why. Damn that. But I like to keep it straight forward. For I say - an important family member is coming to Q8, and ought to go to receive at the airport. PM agrees, commenting " If its someone special, you can go ... "
But CCM is doubtful about the work progress in such a case. I give assurance to complete usual target of 20 sheets before leaving office.
Tick-Tock, Tick-Tock, .... Clockwork starts and continues.
Dont see my friend AT or SM online.
1730 Hrs - Handover daily report to CCM. Surprised to see Target Achieved as promised in the morning.
Flight schedule to reach 1930. Have to leave from home at 1820. Have to leave from office 1745. But here I am, at 1750 still at office, waiting for official transportation to reach the Main Gate. Stranded there, waiting for the Private Unauthorized Taxi Driver whom i arranged from the previous night at the Party. Ah, he reaches at 1800. I think am gonna be late, wont be able to go together with JN and family. But I get a grace period of 20 min on top of earlier schedule. Oh, thank God.

Known Nicknames: Nothing known about the person except likes to be called "Child". (Child alias Kutti)
Relativity : The Only Sister of JN's wife.
Flight landed 10 min before TOA. After almost 45 min standing at the Airport, we welcome Child alias Kutti - JN's new home member and all head back home.
Dinner at JNs' comes in from nearby restaurant. Just a veggie cuisine. Supplemented by 1-day old curry prepared by lovely SiL (Mrs RJN).
Past 10.45 pm. Walk home is only a 5 min deal. Sufficient time ahead for a restful sleep.

T minus 6th July (12:00 am)
Few days has passed by after my first blog dated July 1st.
July 1: Mr. KNS asks me to finish major portion of drawings within a short span of 2 weeks. Same day evening, Mr. JRK (Department Head) gives his comments that at the current rate, drawings could be finished only by 2 years. Little did they know that I been arranging for 10 sheets / day and also dedicating to compiling my blog.
And so, I decide to finish more sheets (probably working up to 10 sheets a day) and pay less concentration to Gtalk events. By the time I take a break almost every 90 min, I notice that somebody has tried his best to initiate a conversation being, but now, its already late to respond, as they aren’t online anymore.
Till my lunch break, my friend AT hasn’t said Hi to me on YM. Guess she must have been busy. So I head home and return back after 5 hours, to see my friend SM from Sydney online. She is going through her boring day routine, her husband away at a place at a time difference of 8 hours and her duty to watch her 18 month old Intelligent Daughter play with tissue papers, shredding it into pieces watching the mallu songs on TV. It feels nice to hear all this; at least it refreshes my mind, caught in the midst of afternoon sleep and work.
And as the day ends, I realize that the day hasn’t been so bad after all, since I have achieved my target level and accomplished more than a dozen drawings compared to the daily progress of June.
July 2: Work wise, I tend to achieve +3 more than my previous LOA (Levels of Accomplishment). As far as being online and connected is concerned, there hasn’t been much change in the scenario of previous day either. I have been told to arrange the printout of drawings completed until date to Mr KNS for his review and comments. Seated next to him, is a new arrival from Angamali, Mr BJ, who has set the resolution of his monitor to 1280x1078 and is carefully browsing pages in a mini window. To see a very familiar page layout. The Orkut.
And so, I understand that my colleague BJ is also an active member and always has his Orkut profile opened in a tiniest window and keeps checking for updates. Now and then. Very much like me.
July 3: 14 sheets. And no other distractions. Except for PSG, who gives an URL that can assess our character based on a online wizard regarding one's handwriting. I did give it a try and I found the result generated has been precise and matching. Of cos, I do take a print out of it, for my reference as well as to show PSG. I know he wud be much interested to know about my Dietary habits ( which wasnt mentioned it in, luckily ).
July 4: Even though its a Friday, I still got to be there. Why ? Its an OT Day, yaar. Low production, Get paid 1.5 times. And I manage to finish 10 Sheets.
Its a pity that ma friends PSG and JJ never get to work on Friday(s), and they get bored to death, after their 8 hr x 5 day weekly schedule. But now things have changed sligthy. After JJ bought his own flight service, the Concorde.
Over the week, I come to notice that every day when I return home after work, JJ's car isnt there in the Car Porch. Either it out on its own, or it does errands for the humble roommates of the Tharavadu.
Even then, JJ decides to go to the Hypermarket where the World Comes Shopping but isnt sure about how to reach there. He also invites PSG to go with him, even me ( to give him road directions to reach our destination and back). July 5: A fresh week starts. And I hurry to print the 70+ drawings, on which I had laid my hands upon the previous week. And submit it to Mr KNS. I know that each of those will return back with a wide range of comments. All this is for a reason - This work is something new to me, which I am not accustomed to, since the past 2 years of korean workitechture.
July 1: Mr. KNS asks me to finish major portion of drawings within a short span of 2 weeks. Same day evening, Mr. JRK (Department Head) gives his comments that at the current rate, drawings could be finished only by 2 years. Little did they know that I been arranging for 10 sheets / day and also dedicating to compiling my blog.
And so, I decide to finish more sheets (probably working up to 10 sheets a day) and pay less concentration to Gtalk events. By the time I take a break almost every 90 min, I notice that somebody has tried his best to initiate a conversation being, but now, its already late to respond, as they aren’t online anymore.
Till my lunch break, my friend AT hasn’t said Hi to me on YM. Guess she must have been busy. So I head home and return back after 5 hours, to see my friend SM from Sydney online. She is going through her boring day routine, her husband away at a place at a time difference of 8 hours and her duty to watch her 18 month old Intelligent Daughter play with tissue papers, shredding it into pieces watching the mallu songs on TV. It feels nice to hear all this; at least it refreshes my mind, caught in the midst of afternoon sleep and work.
And as the day ends, I realize that the day hasn’t been so bad after all, since I have achieved my target level and accomplished more than a dozen drawings compared to the daily progress of June.
July 2: Work wise, I tend to achieve +3 more than my previous LOA (Levels of Accomplishment). As far as being online and connected is concerned, there hasn’t been much change in the scenario of previous day either. I have been told to arrange the printout of drawings completed until date to Mr KNS for his review and comments. Seated next to him, is a new arrival from Angamali, Mr BJ, who has set the resolution of his monitor to 1280x1078 and is carefully browsing pages in a mini window. To see a very familiar page layout. The Orkut.
And so, I understand that my colleague BJ is also an active member and always has his Orkut profile opened in a tiniest window and keeps checking for updates. Now and then. Very much like me.
July 3: 14 sheets. And no other distractions. Except for PSG, who gives an URL that can assess our character based on a online wizard regarding one's handwriting. I did give it a try and I found the result generated has been precise and matching. Of cos, I do take a print out of it, for my reference as well as to show PSG. I know he wud be much interested to know about my Dietary habits ( which wasnt mentioned it in, luckily ).
July 4: Even though its a Friday, I still got to be there. Why ? Its an OT Day, yaar. Low production, Get paid 1.5 times. And I manage to finish 10 Sheets.
Its a pity that ma friends PSG and JJ never get to work on Friday(s), and they get bored to death, after their 8 hr x 5 day weekly schedule. But now things have changed sligthy. After JJ bought his own flight service, the Concorde.
Over the week, I come to notice that every day when I return home after work, JJ's car isnt there in the Car Porch. Either it out on its own, or it does errands for the humble roommates of the Tharavadu.
Even then, JJ decides to go to the Hypermarket where the World Comes Shopping but isnt sure about how to reach there. He also invites PSG to go with him, even me ( to give him road directions to reach our destination and back). My first Big Blog .
Walking into my new office (new for me since june 21st only) early morning, the pc boots up, while I head for Safety Award Meeting. After a whole 30 min session in the dusty climate today, I head back to my workstation which is now online.
Ever since I moved to this office at the new Job Site, on the same seat, looking at the same kind of CAD drawings and doing the assigned task successfully (so far). Until today.
Now, here I am facing the same drawing since last evening, seeing the extent of the drawing and confused where to mark the placeholders on the drawing. Which makes me tired and restless thinking about how to finish this.
Meanwhile, some other friends who weren't online yesterday, seemed to be logging into my favorite IM. Most of them have now noticed the URL to my blog mentioned in the status bar of Gtalk.
A friend of mine SM settled in Sydney who likes to read blogs has given her comments. She says its too short, and it isn't lengthy enough to get her attention. Probably she is right. But short blogs are perfectly normal for beginners.
I get on with the work in the background, again ending up with crisscrossed arrow lines and all those Oval, Circular, Starry and diamond shapes.
The time is now half past 9 and I am left with no work progress since I came into the office today. Taking gulps of water every half an hour, I can say that the only progress so far would be emptying the 1.5 L mineral water bottle. Wow, I drink a lot !!!
And then here comes requests online and on phone !!!
First, my roommate JJ who works with PSG comes online and asks me if I got any contacts with Banks. I told him YES. ( Of cos, every salary employee will have good contact with their Personal Bank. ) He was not interested in Joke this time. So I said I'll enquire and let him know in the evening after my work.
Second, another roommate , but this is a veteran, seeks advice regarding his Credit Cards. It so happens that some lucky people get 2 cards, and here is one person who wants to cancel of the two. Having guided him, I glance back at the screen and what do u know...
Online is SKM whom I been knowing since good old college days, hailing from Calicut and now owning IT Solution Co. and wants to know the Market Scenario in Kuwait.
And all day long until I retire from today work, I sit at my workstation accompanied by online presence of SM and SKM. And switching between my work and refreshing myself chatting with them, I continue my work till its 7.30 pm and time for me to go home.

T minus continues to be T minus
Since T minus has gone live and public, many would be thinking that the Time-Line has proceeded in the positive direction. Mathematically speaking, minus should change to plus. But then, T minus would have to be altered to T plus. This is most unlikely and unwelcome.
If T minus has crossed a Zero mark, then it should be understood that the Time-Line for further achievements / targets have been modified. This means that there exists another Time Zero (T0) for each of the subsequent Milestone(s) on the Time-Line.
This is a chain process.
Hence, T minus continues to be T minus.

Being of Help to ...
Last evening, after my blog was created, I had this incoming request from my collegemate PSG for contact address of another batchmate PTS who lived in the vicinity of the college we graduated from. For ... one of his classmates' ( her name - BM - located in US ) dad was admitted to Ernakulam and was awaiting a surgery.
And BM wanted to transfer some funds for the same thru PTS. And I had no contact info about this PTS ( for abt 8 yrs ) , but since my Gtalk was heavily loaded with 400 batchmates, it was sorta easy to communicate with 2 other batchmates (VG and PSP ) in USA and get an alternate solution to help BM. PSP offered to provide the help BM needs at Ekm and VG furnished the contact numbers of BM.
Thanks to Orkut.com ( for being able to locate these old friends ) & to all the ppl for using Gtalk.

And I started thinking and saying to myself " Well, Ur on boy ! " and as time goes by, things have started shaping up on my Blog World.

It has not yet been 24 Hours after creating my Blog. And even then in that short time-span, I have finished a whole lot of chores.
... T minus launched at 1800 Hrs on Sunday 29 June, 2008 ( being at my workplace )
... Left from office at 1930 Hrs for a 20 min drive to my residence.
... Dinner at 2030 Hrs, and to sleep at 2200 Hrs
... Rise and Shine at 0415 Hrs and ready to catch the bus at 0445 Hrs.
... Work site reached at 0500 Hrs, finished Safety Meeting scheduled for 0510 Hrs and
... On my workspace at 0530 Hrs and the clock ticks by.
And as the time goes by, I can say that there's just less than 12 Hrs to finish my prologue and get onto Real Blogging.

First Thoughts of Blogging ?
It was my cousin brother "JN" who showed me the world of Blogging thru his blogspot. ( Details later ). That was in 2004. I generally used to think that this kinda activity is for those who have lots of leisure time. For JN has a cool work environment and a wonderful work schedule ever since he landed on the most barren land of the Gulf Region.
I know many guys who have cursed themselves for ever taking a decision to come to this country. Some who gave up from 3 months time , to as less as 1 weeks time. I understand that my bro JN has decided well in making use of his free time, after his 8 hr duty cycle. And I suppose that those who feel bored should intend to do sumthing like this ( as I have started to do ) and turn creative.
It was not until 23rd June 2008 that I myself decided that I should be blogging. Even then it took me to this moment today.
